A new and miraculous finding!

Filed under: Health and Well Being - Bellatryx @ 2:27 pm

Two days ago, my mother and I took my father to a routine appointment with his neurologist, Dr, Edson Amancio.
Dr. Edson is also a splendid writer on fiction and also neurologic matters. The latest book, “The man who made it rain” is fascinating, describing the patients problems (their names were not revealed, of course).
I was very impressed, I did not imagine such a diversified fan of problems, a myriad of variations, all making the people who are victimized by them very unhappy.
As every time we go there, Dr. Edson tells us about the most modern procedures and news about neurology.
This time was not different, and he told us about a surgery he saw performed in Toronto, in which some eletrods were implanted in a teacher who suffered from cronic severe depression, a historic of some suicide attemps and she had no hope of feeling better one day.
The first thing she said after the implants were placed was : “I am seeing colors I do not see for thirty years” (I was wandering if very depressed people see things in black and white) and then “I am feeling better, and I want to help you to cure me”.
Dr. Edson commented that it was like a miracle, or a sci-fi movies. The effect of the electric brain stimulation was instantaneous!
When I arrived home I went straight to the computer, and googled some more information.
Here is something:

For more, just use EDSON AMANCIO as key word in the Google. You will find very interesting things.

Beloved Pets’ Departure
The Rainbow Bridge

Filed under: Lovely animals - Bellatryx @ 6:59 pm

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together….

Intellectual Coffee Break

Many people have registered in the blog for newsletter and feedback. Unfortunately, things in my life are very complicated now ( family’s health problems), and I have very little time to dedicate to myself.
But these people may find many things here, the blog is huge and the posts are many and diversified.
The “Search” box can take them to their subjects of interest. It is just type in the box the key word.
I am sure that these people will have a good time in my blog.
All are very welcome and I am very happy and grateful for the appreciation of my hard work.
Take care!

COVARDIA E DESUMANIDADE

Filed under: Lovely animals - Bellatryx @ 8:42 pm

Bellatryx

A pause…

Filed under: About me - Bellatryx @ 8:49 pm

Due to many reasons, from lack of time to serious health problems in my family, I decided to decrete a virtual break , an undetermined lapse of time.
Wishing you all the best, the beautifulest Christmas and the most wonderful of New Years ever, we will meet again when this hurricane in my life had finally passed.
Again, best wishes from inside my mysanthrope bubble.

Halloween Story

The Perils of the Night
by Bellatryx

She ran desperately. Dark, deserted streets hid menace in every corner. Her grandmother had warned her about the perils of the night: People died. People disappeared. Children were often never found. Her heart pounded heavily in her chest, as she heard frightful footsteps following nearer and nearer.

“Oh Dear God”, she prayed silently, running until she was unable to take one more step. She was exhausted, feeling like a rat chased by a cat. Eyes wild, she stopped, looked all around, seeking any hole in the darkness, any place to hide, seeking any sanctuary. Then, deep relief. She staggered forward towards a little miracle : one small light in a house had just come on, the door was half opened. It was only a few feet to her left.

She weakly crossed the threshold, and the person behind the door closed it.

She collapsed on the nearest chair, looking gratefully to her savior, the thanks dying in her throat. She almost fainted when she saw his big fangs gleaming under the dim light … The creature said : “Do not be afraid, little girl…”

This little story was written because I was watching Little Red Riding Hood on TV and because of a post on(Cybertown) Inner Realms message board, posted by Vampire.Hunter

More on vampires… October is the month of frightful things…
There is something curious about my grandfather. He was born in the times of the Austrian-Hungarian Empire, and he was an Austrian citizen. His hometown was Hermanstadt, now known as Sibiu , in Romania.

Bram Stoker’s “Dracula” begins in Hermanstadt … It must be because of this fact that I have a tender spot in my heart for vampires.

I found a little gem written by Bram Stoker, not widely known, about a vampire’s honor and respect to his guests.

I uploaded it the blog (which has become a kind of “vade mecum”). The URL is : http://bellatryx.blogs.ie Go to the “search” window at the top of the right side of the screen and type “Dracula”. “Voilá”, the story is there to be savored. Written by a master, enjoy!

Cybertown, wow!!!

Filed under: Special - Bellatryx @ 1:17 am

Many people who read this blog, from all over the world are writing to me about my virtual home. I can say that I am wonderfully happy there, with jobs I love, friends and lots of interests. I can hardly wait to login and go home.
I am a “Cybertown Virtual News” reporter, and recently was hired as Neighborhood Leader. I also own two clubs : “Cyt0nian Pride” and “Cytonian Style” (I have plans for both!).
My nick in Cybertown is Lisiel. There are not two people with the same name. So, be sure that you find an unusual name to be your nick there. And, while filling your data, give “Lisiel” as reference. Once you are there, look for me . Go to my home :

www.cybertown.com/home/lisiel

If I am not there, send me an e-mail : lisielofcybertown@gmail.com telling me that you read about Cybertown in my blog, and I will give you a job and help you to get about the town, and introduce you to my friends. No matter where you come from, all of us speak English there.

I have been in other virtual communities, but not a single one is like Cybertown. It is not a game, it is my chosen virtual life, there I have the opportunity of learning fabulous things , there is an amazing understructure there, an astonishing economic system, one has to see to believe.
I already love it there. Since I joined, only good and happy things are happening to me!
And I want to share my happiness with you!

My fabulous virtual life

My fabulous virtual adventure

Living in Real Life is not an easy task.
Violence, serious problems, stress, hardships…We are forced to face so many ordeals without a truce, that sometimes it seems that we cannot cope with all these difficulties.
That happened to me. One day I simply said to myself : “Enough”!
Googling for alternatives, I found Cybertown.
Some say it is a game. To me, it is not. It became my chosen alternative life, where I am happy.
As soon as I immigrated, I began to explore everything! I have a beautiful house , which I decorated to my taste and style, with the available resources (The Mall and a collection of shops - The Wall, where a newbie can find everything at very inviting prices and even for free!). Gifted artists build awesome objects, I was amazed at their skill! Furniture, art, objects, fountains, beautiful avatars…
A dancing club where I danced and had a lot of fun, with a dancing avatar.
Crowning all this, the virtual worlds! The main plaza and the Colonies’ plazas, the majestic spaceport, the beach, the e-plex, the museum…
Some of them (since I am still new there I had no time yet to explore everything and learn about all the special things one can find there)can offer entertainment for a lot of time!
I have been in other virtual communities, but I did not feel like they could be a home to me.
Cybertown impressed me at once.In the main plaza, I was greeted by Mina,a robot, and Cybertown’s guide…
Then the Colony I chose to live, which is a spiritual realm where I found dozens of spiritual paths. I chose “Inner Realms” Colony, “Mind, Body & Soul” neighborhood, “Love ” block (I always thought love is the physical force moving the Universe, so that is the place for me, in this time of my life). Inner Realms plaza is a forest, with a stream which sounds wonderfully. I love staying there, my avatar (for those who do not know what an avatar is, it is a representation of myself, a beautifully made virtual person) just in the stream bank, just feelong that peace and tranquility, quieting my soul.
This beautiful world was created by Jeffrey Bedrick, a fabulous artist I admire hugely!
Other Colonies are Sci-fi, Virtual Worlds, Hi-TeK, Adventure, 9th. Dimension,Entertainment, Cyberhood,The Campus,Games and , naturally, Inner Realms. Look for your preferences.
In Cybertown I found an endless supply of learning subjects,it is so big that I did not manage to explore it completely.
And clubs, meetings, parties, city events…
The chats are made safe by security officers who do not allow foul language- the site is a family protected one- nor aggressions of any kind.
Clean, fun and healthy conversations. The “Newcomers Club” can be found at the right side of the screen, and It has all the basic information to settle down .
When I immigrated, I had thirty free days and then I would pay US$5,00 per month. So little cost for so many wondeful things.Paying through a free account with Pay Pay is easy and very convenient.
I forgot to mention that there are also jobs : not dull ones, but rewarding and fun . Everybody works in Cybertown.
I work for CVN, Cybertown Virtual News, writing for Daily News. I love my job, and my boss is wonderful to work to.
I have met the most interesting and charming people in the chat.
It may sound incredible, but since I joined Cybertown my life changed for better,I get up in the morning wondering what good things will happen to me today. And I go to my bed at night with a smile in my heart.
I am not exagerating.
As I always share with all of you the good things I find, I could hardly wait to tell you about Cybertown.
The URL is www.cybertown.com, my name there is LISIEL. Give this name as your reference as you join Cybertown, and look for me there. I will help you in everything you need.
Believe me, it is an experience you will love and cannot miss!!!!!
